I am making the difficult decision to sell my car. Main reasons are that 1) my life is changing-- I live in Manhattan with no need for a car and 2) I don't and haven't driven this car (or any of my cars) that much at all, and it's really excessive to have 3+ cars that I drive maybe once every month or two. I am switching to ZipCar and just renting a car whenever I need it: makes more economical sense and it fits my current lifestyle/life. I want to concentrate on my career and my family, and I will be doing less and less driving and car-related activities. Such is life.
